Program
Griankopf, Glockhauser, Äusserer Nockenkopf, Mitterlochspitze, Falbenairspitze, Grosser Schafkopf, Seebödenspitze and many other rewarding ski peaks in the Rojen and Langtauferer valleys.
South Tyrol and especially Vinschgau, in the immediate vicinity of Graubünden, are rich in top-class ski touring gems. One of these gems is the Langtauferer Tal, which offers ski tours for every taste. From the gentle tours in the Ochsenberg valley to the beautiful firn tours on the southern slopes and the more demanding tours on the northern side, you will find the ideal tour for all conditions. In the mountain refuge Langtaufererhof with the Thöni family we are in the best of hands and are pampered according to all the rules of hospitality, from A for excellent food to W for the wellness area in the house and Z for satisfied guests.
Sunday: Meeting point at 12.45 p.m. at the railway station in Landquart, followed by a joint trip by bus from the mountain sports school to the Langtauferer Tal valley. After dinner, discussion of the ski tour days and introduction to the use of safety equipment.
Monday: Introductory tour from the small hamlet of Rojen, 1973 m, to the Äusser Nockenkopf, 2767 m. The perfect start to the week!
800 m altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 hours
Tuesday: Ascent directly from the hotel to the Glockhauser, 3021 m. Great view of the Ötztal Alps and the mighty Glockturm.
1100 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 4 hours.
Wednesday: Today we go outside again and visit the Griankopf, 2896m, at the back of the Rojental, with a wonderful view of the Piz Lischana.
960 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 1/2 hours.
Thursday: Dream tour from the Maseben ski area to the Mitterlochspitze, 3176 m. 1400 vertical metres of downhill enjoyment over open north-facing slopes and across the piste await us!
800 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 hours
Friday: Desired tour to one of the other rewarding ski tour peaks in the Langtaufer or Rojen valley depending on the conditions and the wishes of the group. After the tour, collective journey to Landquart, completion of the tour in the course of the afternoon and individual journey home.
700 to 1100 metres altitude difference, ascent time approx. 3 to 4 hours.
