Program

Climbing holidays and discovery of Mallorca in the most beautiful areas of this fantastic island: Calvià, Alaró, Ca'n Ortigues, Puig de Garrafa, Cala Santaní, Cala Magraner, Sa Creueta, among others.

The climbing areas in Mallorca are varied and scattered all over the island. Whether by the sea, with a sea view or hidden inland, each of the areas has its charm and peculiarities. Besides climbing, typical bars and restaurants in the small, well-preserved villages invite you to linger, and the sea is never far away. As usual on our climbing trips, we attach great importance to excellent cuisine. The locals' restaurants with typical Mallorcan delicacies near the climbing areas give us ample opportunity to discover the varied cuisine.

Saturday: Meeting point at Zurich airport depending on flight schedule. Flight to Mallorca, where we pick up our rental car at the airport. Drive to our hotel and dinner together in one of the many good restaurants.

Sunday to Saturday: Together we will determine our climbing area for the day and the programme. The areas Calvià, Alaro, Ca'n Ortigues, Puig de Garrafa, Cala Santani, Cala Magraner, Sa Creueta, Valdemossa, Tijuana and others with their different routes are all worth one or more visits. The approach is always by rental car from our hotel. The climbs are many and varied. Single-pitch routes dominate in varied rock with holes, occasionally on sinter and stalactites. A few multi-pitch routes offer a nice variety. Depending on the climbing area, a short or even shorter approach leads us through a wild and intact natural landscape to our dream rocks. After climbing, we refresh ourselves by swimming in the sea and/or enjoying a gelati in the bars.
In the evening we visit the restaurants near the hotel or directly after climbing in the small towns of Valldemossa, Capdellà, S'Alqueria Blanca, Pollença and Santa Maria del Cami.

Sunday: After breakfast, return journey to Switzerland. Drive to the airport, return of the rental car and flight to Zurich. Conclusion of the climbing week and individual journey home.

Besides visiting the most rewarding climbing areas, we do not completely forget the training. During the week we will cover various topics such as abseiling, belaying, setting up belay stations, improving individual climbing technique, etc. After climbing, we have the opportunity to visit the beautiful towns of Valldemossa, Capdellà, S'Alqueria Blanca, Pollença, Santa Maria del Cami and Palma or relax by swimming.
