Switzerland - Europe

Partnun - Partnun
19.01 - 22.01.2023
On our varied ski touring days for ski touring beginners, we provide you with a modern, exciting and multi-layered basic training so that you can later carry out easy ski tours independently. In the touring area around the hamlet of Partnun, we find many rewarding summit destinations to put what you have learned into practice straight away.
All tours start almost on our doorstep, so that we can do without long journeys. This means that we have enough time to comfortably undertake instructive tours and to use the four days for training and application. Our physical well-being after the tours will not be neglected either, and the hotpot will be fired up in the evening for relaxation.

With our proven training based on the latest findings in avalanche prevention, you will be able to recognise the greatest dangers in the winter mountains and know how to behave in a guided group.

On the way, we'll look after you with tips and tricks from the pros for the perfect skiing technique off the groomed slopes. And with joint tour planning with the help of the White Risk avalanche prevention portal, followed by implementation in the terrain, the learning effect is great and the fun endless!

Your advantages at a glance:

- practice-oriented training for the later independent implementation of easy tours
- tried and tested learning content
- safety equipment is provided free of charge
- easy tours, ideal for beginners in terms of length and difficulty
- a quiet, unspoilt area, home of the Walser people

St. Antönien, or rather our hamlet Partnun, lies at 1769 m and offers us an absolutely snow-sure and varied touring area. All tours start right on our doorstep, so we don't need to make long journeys. The Berghaus Sulzfluh offers us guaranteed quiet rooms, a wood-heated hay-flower whirlpool in front of the house, which has been awarded a prize by Switzerland Tourism, and fine food to ensure that our physical well-being is not neglected after the tours.

Day 1: Meeting point at 8.45 a.m. in Landquart railway station. Joint journey by bus from the mountain sports school to St. Antönien Rüti. Organised luggage transport to Berghaus Sulzfluh, distribution of rental equipment, equipment check. Introduction to the handling of the safety equipment and the ski touring technique. With a first ascent we get used to the material, the technique and the snow. And we enjoy the descent to our accommodation in Partnun! Checking into our rooms and dinner. After dinner follows a theoretical introduction to tour planning and avalanche prevention.
