Our trekking takes us to one of the most popular and scenic and cultural trekking regions in the world. One of the undisputed highlights is certainly the sight of Mount Everest, called in Nepali Sagarmatha and in Tibetan Chomolungma, with its 8848 m the highest elevation of the earth. This mountain, first climbed in 1953 by Sherpa Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary, is surrounded by a sea of other mountain giants. Nestled in this is the heartland of the Sherpa, the Khumbu. These high valleys are among the highest settlement areas on Earth, with the highest villages at 4,000 meters and even higher. In addition to the magnificent panoramic views of the highest peaks in the world and wildlife viewing within the Sagarmatha National Park are possible. Our trekking also gives us a good insight into the way of life, culture and religion of the resident Sherpa people and the life and prayer of the monks in the monasteries ..
